Download & extract
Download the Windows ZIP and extract the entire folder. Open Fractionate Mic.exe. Keep its supporting files together.

Make it your own
Drag the microphone to your favorite spot. Right-click for settings, or add an HTTPS website to open from the button.

Speak. Save. Keep going.
Click to record, then click to stop. Play back and save your audio in the recorder panel. Your microphone turns coral while recording.
A simple desktop companion.
Local audio recording, playback and saving. A separate window for your connected website. Saved position, optional startup, and controls in the system tray.
*Local recordings stay in memory until saved and are never uploaded by the recorder. Connected websites have their own data policies. Save audio before quitting; recording stops after 10 minutes. Website voice controls and AI transcription are not connected in this version.
This first release is unsigned. Windows may display an unknown-publisher warning. Desktop behavior and audio devices need testing on your Windows computer.
